Development of a novel bipolar stacked Iron/Air Battery Stack
Within the scope of the project “ELuStat” an iron/air battery stack is being developed. Both, the iron and the air electrode are subjected for investigation. A battery stack will be designed with the best performing electrodes. A significant amount of active material in state-of-the-art powder-based iron electrodes cannot be utilized
A Modelica-based Simulation Model for Large-Scale Stationary Lithium-Ion Battery Systems
Holistic battery system models are a key tools for the design and optimization of stationary battery systems. The objective of this contribution is the development of a Modelica-based system model which can be used for the investigation of operational optimization strategies and predictive maintenance approaches. The model includes a 0D-battery
